We are thrilled to announce that starting June 1st, HSDC will be available at our new Administrative Office at 162 Webb Way, Advance. This is not a shelter; all HSDC pets will remain in foster care for now.
You can drop off donations and access our resource center in this office. We will continue to serve our community here, and it will be the location for our pet food pantry distribution and low-cost spay/neuter clinic pick-up and drop-off.
We are excited to take this next step and have a location to serve our community better and continue our mission to improve the lives of pets in Davie County and beyond.
Pet of the Month Bruno
Bruno is a large lab/hound mixed breed. He is 3 years old. Bruno was surrendered to a local shelter from a sad situation but he is ready to put the past behind him and find his forever home. He is housebroken, gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids. He loves to explore his new surroundings. He is doing well leash training and loves to be outside walking or playing. Bruno is a strong guy. He needs a fenced in yard or someone who can handle his strength. He is doing great with leash and crate training. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative.
